Privacy policy
Slay: Teleprompter for Girls · Draft policy for the upcoming iOS release. Your scripts, notes and ideas belong to you.
Scripts, notes, ideas, calendar tasks, favourite lines, prompter presets and custom colours. These are kept on your device and, if you sign in, synced to your private account so they follow you between devices.
Sign in with Apple is the primary way in; an anonymous device account is available as a fallback. No name, phone number or address is requested.
The camera is used so you can film while reading, and the microphone powers voice-follow scrolling — the text advancing at the pace you speak. Video you record is saved to your own device or photo library. Recordings are not uploaded to any server.
When you ask AI to generate ideas, write a script or rewrite a note, the text of that request is sent through a secure server to an AI provider to produce the answer. Requests are not used to identify you, and the bodies of your scripts and notes are not stored for analytics.
Only anonymised product events are collected — for example that a prompter session started or a take was saved. No names, no script bodies, no note contents.
Pro subscriptions are handled by the App Store. Payment details are processed by Apple and are never visible to me.
You can delete any script, note or idea inside the app. To remove your account and everything synced with it, write to the address below and it will be erased.
